4th/5th Grade Reading/Writing

This class is designed to help your child master the math skills appropriate for their grade level as well as strengthen reading and writing skills for 4th grade. The first week of class will consist of a review of the previous year’s standards and then dive into the upcoming year’s concepts. This class is individualized and tailored to fit each child’s needs. Hands on learning and playing games are essential!

4th/5th Grade Math

This class is tailored for young minds eager to master the essential skills of multiplication and division. Through interactive and fun lessons, students will learn the times tables, explore multiplication strategies, and delve into the world of division. Math Fact fluency is crucial in setting the foundation for more complex mathematical concepts. Come join us and watch your child’s confidence soar!

5th/6th Grade Reading

This class is designed to strengthen reading and writing skills for their grade level. We will review key concepts in Language Arts to help prepare them for the school year and upcoming fall assessments. Writer’s Workshop will also be a part of each week. This piece is designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and excitement about writing.

D181 Math Bridge Support
5th-6th Grade Advanced & Accelerated

This class is offered to students participating in D181’s summer bridge program. This class will meet twice a week. Classes at most will be 6:1 student/teacher ratio. Students will review topics presented in their classes as well as move ahead to other topics that will be taught during the course this summer. Classes will be in person at Level Up.  Both classes will be taught by different teachers so students can have the teacher’s undivided attention.

4th/5th Grade Summer Book Club

Using books from the local school district’s summer reading list*, students will participate in a book club throughout the summer. The plan is to finish a book every two weeks. Book clubs improve comprehension, increase vocabulary and encourage critical thinking. Book clubs are a great way to motivate kids to read and get them talking about books as well as share their own perspectives with one another.

STEM Challenges Camp (4th/5th)

Dive into our thrilling 4-Day STEM Challenge Bootcamp, where creativity meets innovation! Designed for aspiring young scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers, this hands-on program encourages participants to tackle exciting challenges in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
